The DJV184 features a top handle design and is ideal for woodworkers, cabinet makers, builders, and general trades. The Makita DJV184 has a compact and ergonomic design and only weighs 2.4kg with 18V LXT 6.0Ah battery, sold separately). 

The Makita built brushless motor is engineered for longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. The DJV184 has a variable 5 speed control dial (0 3,000 SPM) which enables the user to match the speed to the application, and the 3 orbital settings plus straight cutting provide added versatility. 

Other features include “tool less” blade changes, large 2 finger variable speed trigger with lock on button and a built in dust blower to clear the line of cut.
