Being offered for sale is the antique HALLMARKED (.925-Lion, from Birmingham-Anchor & 1900-1904-lower case 'a' in 'ghost-shaped' shield) STERLING SILVER & COW/OX BONE 'JOURNAL PAGE TURNER' by "H.M." (H. Matthews) of "GARNKIRK" ("...a settlement in North Lanarkshire, located a mile southwest of Muirhead. It is located 10 km northeast of Glasgow's city centre and 23 km southwest of Falkirk." -as per Google.com), from circa 1903 (as per date marked "27/6/03" - see 2nd pic), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES. CONDITION NOTES:

Very Good/VG+ antique condition with some small chipping at rounded bone tip (see last 3 pics) but otherwise, just minor cosmetic wear throughout from normal use over the years. Aside from the wear at tip, we see NO breaks or repairs. Light patina throughout. Lovely old piece!! See pics.

Measures 11-1/4" long, overall. Silver handle alone, measures 3-3/4" long x 1-1/8" wide, at widest x 17/32" thick, at thickest. Weighs 45 grams (1.59 ounces).
