This Trash Receptacle In-ground Mount contains all of the hardware that you need to permanently install a trash receptacle into the ground. This style of mounting is perfect for any cans being installed on relatively soft surfaces such as dirt, gravel, or even asphalt. It holds the trash can in place to prevent it from being moved or knocked over by vandals, stray dogs, or even bears. The design cleverly holds the plastic lining of the receptacle in place as well, to ensure that it can’t be removed from its metal casing. The plate at the top of the mounting hardware goes inside the base of the plastic liner, right below where the trash bag rests. The bottom of the hardware goes deep into the ground where it is held in place by poured cement, making it almost impossible to move. Professional installers are recommended.
