Canon BR-E2 Wireless Remote

The Canon BR-E2 Wireless Remote is a Bluetooth-enabled remote controller designed to provide convenient wireless operation of compatible Canon EOS and PowerShot cameras. Ideal for self-portraits, group shots, long-exposure photography, wildlife photography and video production, it allows users to control key camera functions remotely without touching the camera, helping to reduce vibration and camera shake. It supports still photography, video recording, autofocus operation, power zoom control on compatible lenses, exposure compensation adjustment and customisable camera functions.

Using Bluetooth Low Energy technology, the BR-E2 offers reliable wireless control at distances of up to approximately 5 metres (16.4 ft) in unobstructed environments. The remote can pair with up to five compatible cameras, allowing photographers and content creators to switch between registered devices without repeating the pairing process.

The ergonomic design includes dedicated shutter and movie-record buttons, a zoom and exposure-compensation control lever, plus two customisable function buttons that can be assigned to supported camera features. Half-press autofocus and full-press shutter release operation closely replicate the controls found on the camera itself, making remote shooting intuitive and responsive.

Compact and lightweight, the BR-E2 weighs approximately 14g (excluding battery) and is powered by a user-replaceable CR2032 lithium coin battery. Its small size makes it easy to carry in a camera bag or pocket for everyday shooting, travel and content creation.
