A stunning French Art Deco enfilade buffet or sideboard handcrafted of mahogany near Toulouse, the capital of France’s southern Occitanie region, with a stunning wood grain, rich patterned palisander parquetry, and bronze doré that accents the wood beautifully, circa 1940s. A slightly curved top sits above a center cabinet with a single glass door that opens to reveal a single glass shelf. Flanked by two cabinet doors on each side with the left opening to reveal a single shelf for storage and the right opening to reveal a shelf with drawer below. Raised on tall tapered legs ending in brass sabots. A unique blend of Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern design, this handsome sideboard is in excellent original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use.
