A fabulous large antique French industrial icebox in bleached oak, circa 1920s, that is lined with zinc, having three front doors and a single door on the left side, all with original brass hardware. The four panel doors open to reveal a spacious interior with slatted shelves and a central compartment where the ice was kept. Before the modern day refrigerator, this 1920s type French cooler was made for use in cafes, boucheries, and charcuteries. A versatile cabinet with fantastic storage. Perfect for use as a kitchen island, sideboard, bar, or as a counter in a shop or restaurant.
