1. Does the leather have an odor?
Yes. Crazy Horse leather has a natural leather scent along with a light oil-wax smell. It will fade after 1–2 days of ventilation.
2. Will the color differ from the pictures?
Slight color variation is normal for natural leather. Due to the pull-up characteristics of Crazy Horse leather, the color may also vary depending on angle and lighting. This is a natural feature of genuine leather, not a defect.
3. Can surface scratches be removed?
Yes. Light scratches can be reduced or removed by gently rubbing with your fingers or a soft cloth. Body heat helps redistribute the wax, allowing scratches to fade naturally. Deeper marks can be treated with a small amount of leather care oil.
4. Is uneven surface color a quality issue?
No. The natural pull-up effect of Crazy Horse leather creates variations in light and dark tones. This is part of its unique character. Areas that are bent appear lighter, while flat areas appear darker—this is completely normal.
5. Are natural marks (scars, wrinkles) considered defects?
No. These are natural characteristics of top-grain leather and proof of genuine leather. We carefully select hides to minimize them, but slight natural marks may still exist.
6. Can thickness, size, or color be customized?
Yes. We support bulk customization. Please contact us for details; minimum order quantities apply.
7. How should Crazy Horse leather be maintained?
Avoid long-term sun exposure and high temperatures. Simply wipe with a dry soft cloth. For care, apply a thin layer of leather balm or natural wax, and avoid silicone-based products. The best maintenance method is frequent use—wearing and using the leather is the best way to keep it beautiful.
