A beautifully carved set of 6 French Louis XIV style dining side chairs having walnut frames with high chapeau de gendarme backs and square section seats, circa early 1900s. Supported on carved, scrolled legs ending in pieds de biche with carved "H" stretchers. Striped upholstery is serviceable but easily replaced in your coordinating fabric. These large and comfortable dining chairs are very sturdy and suitable for everyday use. They will make an elegant addition to any dining room.
