Having a long oval cane seat, this graceful antique French bench features a bluish gray painted finish with cream accents that has attained a lovely patina over the decades. The cane seat is framed by small egg and dart molding around the perimeter with the apron featuring intricately carved cream painted roses and center floral swag. Raised on six circular tapering and stop-fluted legs headed with rosettes that terminate in toupie feet. The feet are connected by a carved, curved and concave stretcher with a central circle design and floral rosettes. A lightweight piece that can easily be moved from place to place.
