Star Gazing Oracle - Full Moon Edition

The July moon is most commonly known as the "Stag Moon" which honors the velvet covered antlers that the bucks are currently in full swing of growing.

This particular "Star Gazing Oracle" honors The Stag Moon. Handmade out of sterling and fine silver, this piece offers a rising ornate moon cradling a special stone. This smaller moon is what is known as velvet obsidian, in honor of the stag's velvet. In indirect light it remains dark, not quite black but a shifting dark gray in most lights. In direct, bright light such as a flashlight or sun, it illuminates with multi-color flash which rolls as the waves of a soft velvet does.

This particular ring measures approximately 1" x 1" and weighs approximately .45 ounces in total. It is a size 6 resting on a decorative split band as shown above.
