Monitoring oil pressure in your air-cooled VW engine is a must, especially if it's a high performance engine.  This oil pressure gauge is of excellent quality.  It is manufactured in Great Britain by Smiths Instruments, who has been manufacturing quality automotive gauges since 1900.  It fits the industry standard 52mm mounting hole. Manufactured exclusively for EMPI. This is an electrical gauge and requires installation of a sending unit. We recommend using a VDO V360006, which replaces the stock VW sending unit and has a second terminal to hook the gauge wire to.  Easy peasy.
