Chhinamasta is a form of Hindu Goddess Shakti. She is one of the ten Mahavidyas or Wisdom Goddesses. Chhina means severed and masta means head. This means one whose head is severed. She is depicted as decapitating her own head and holding it in her hand and a scimitar in the other.
