Here in one volume is the first Scottish edition of the life of David Brainerd, composed by Jonathan Edwards largely from the private diary of David Brainerd. Aside from his private diary, Brainerd also kept a journal recounting his ministry among the Native Americans. Importantly, it contains his first-hand account of the revival among them in great detail. This the first complete edition of that journal, bound with Edwards Life. Also included is David Brainerd's ordination sermon.
