Forest Floor

This ring is an ode to the forest and all its mystery.

The damp, crisp air the forest greets you with. The soft cushion of moss and fallen leaves beneath your feet. A tribute to the brightness of light filtered through the leaves above, and the dark earth below. There is a juxtaposition of mystery and familiarity that calls you further in. There isn't a single forest exploration that is void of a sort of humming, one that vibrates both life and death; mushrooms sprouting among fallen friends and roots rising from ancient trees. Oh, what stories they must tell.

A piece of albino agate and its layers of winery, frost-nipped moss inclusions is wrapped by both twig and bone and leaf; all cast from the real thing! Large fern fronds drape each side of the band.

Crafted out of Fine Silver (.999) and Sterling Silver (.925). It has been given a dark patina and then finished with a mix of both rough and high polishes for maximum magical feel. The back (or bottom) has been fully polished to a smooth, glossy, reflective finish.

Measures approximately 1.9" x 1.30" at longest and widest points. A size 8.5 on a single band as shown in the above pictures. Unfortunately this can NOT be resized. It weighs just over one  full ounce at 1.15 or 33 grams.
