The meditrol® D-Dimer Test from medichem is a rapid test for the qualitative detection of D-dimer in whole blood and plasma. An elevated D-dimer level may indicate the presence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism, or disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC).

The test result can be read using visual interpretation of colour development on the test cassette and is available in just 10 minutes. The D-dimer rapid test is intended for professional in-vitro diagnostics and is available in various pack sizes.
