19th century French Louis XIII style bleached walnut buffet d'appui handcrafted by talented artisans in the French Basque Country, circa 1870s. This handsome buffet features two doors with raised diamante point decoration that open to reveal a single shelf over two bottom drawers also having carved diamond motifs and original iron hardware. Raised on bun feet. This tall, versatile buffet would make a wonderful bar or storage cabinet for linens, clothing, dishes and serveware.
