Vintage 1962 Grosse multi-chain tassel necklace in gold plate. This elegant heritage necklace comprises three separate chains draped on each side and pulled together by a decorative knot to form a tassel. The necklace sits on the neck at a 16 inch length, with a further 3.5 inches for the knot and tassel. The chains are held together at the back with bars and a single bolt ring closure. Excellent condition with little to no visible wear. Made by Henkel and Grosse of Germany, who manufactured jewellery for Lanvin and Schiaparelli as well as their own brand. Grosse also produced all the costume jewellery for Christian Dior under license from 1955 onward until becoming part of the Dior group in 2005.
