Despite bearing the Terra name, this model is actually pre-Nike Terra. It has been said that this model resulted in someone at Nike realising that Terra could be its own thing, which might explain why ACG began to go down more of a hiking shoe and aqua sports route. Like the ACG Salbis, the Tor was also named by Gary Warnett as one of the top 25 ACG models ever released and we can certainly see why. Warnett mentions in the article that this model/style of shoe was also popular with skaters at the time. A great bit of Nike history, in fantastic vintage condition.
