Very Rare August 19, 1962 14" x 22.25" boxing-style concert poster for Surfers' Ball show at the Palladium in Hollywood, CA. featuring Beach Boys with Dick Dale. This Beach Boys line-up featured Brian Wilson, but no Al Jardine. According to David Marks, a fight broke out in the audience at this show between the genuine surfers and the "hodads". Only a couple copies of this poster have ever surfaced for sale. Yellowed with age, tack holes and small tears in corners and along edges. Considering the fragility of boxing-style posters this is in remarkably nice condition considering it's over 60 years old. Poster will ship flat.
