An Oak is a reminder that the greatest things often have small and humble beginnings.

These stems of great grand oaks were collected on such a journey. I wanted to make a talisman of the wood so you could carry a bit of the spirit of an ancient forest with you.

Small branches of oak with tiny acorns, bails formed by tiny mushrooms with sparkling "gems" accompanied by a large mushroom and a single dangling oak leaf. All have been cast with meticulous detail from the real thing into solid silver.

This particular one weighs approximately one full ounce in total and is strung on a long and layering 26" long brass chain as shown above.
