A handsome 19th Century Spanish Renaissance style carved walnut console from the Catalan region, circa 1890s, having a rectangular plank top above a frieze with dentil molding over three drawers with original iron drop handles. Below is molded panel case flanked by carved, scrolling pilasters. Raised on a plinth base. Beautiful rich patina. The narrow depth of this console makes it a very versatile piece and its graceful curves and straight lines allow it to work with traditional and modern decors. Perfect for a foyer, hallway, or dining room.​
