Fits 97-09 sohc and OHV engines on the Ford Explorer mercury mountaineer and Lincoln aviator.

SOHC engines will not use the rear mounting on the alternator, this is normal, and not a problem with fitment at all. 

Large case alternators are a direct fit for OHV engines, and require a small bending of the coolant pipe behind the alternator for large case options on SOHC.

Idle output on all units is 170-190 amps at 800+ rpm. Peak output ratings are 1800+ rpm. We rate our alternators at 200+ degrees F. This is NOT a cold rating.
