An ideal space saver for any multipurpose room, this sturdy and comfortable Queen Murphy Bed can be slept on every night. The bed folds up and down safely thanks to the dual piston system. The wall bed accommodates most standard Queen mattresses (8-12 inches thick, 45-90 lb, 60 x 80 inches) and supports up to 1000 lb (including mattress). The open bed extends 93 inches from the wall. It is best to assign a clearance of 30 to 36 inches around the open bed for easy movement. The cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum ceiling height of 90. 4 inches. For installation and to avoid risk of injury, we recommend a minimum of 2 people install or the use of a professional or qualified person with knowledge of the wall structure, studs, and components. Bed may be attached to wood studs, metal studs, or masonry wall structures; masonry requires use of concrete screws (not provided).
