MD-MUSCLE is medical device designed to improve muscle and joint mobility and to reduce pain, counteracting physiological or pathological joint and tissue deterioration.

Scientific evidence shows the efficacy and safety of MD-MUSCLE in cases of:

• Muscle pain (acute, subacute, chronic):
  • due to aging
  • due to bad posture
  • due to concomitant chronic diseases
  • due to traumas and injuries
• Muscle sprains
• Treatment of trigger points

Treatment can be combined with other therapies.

1 treatment per week: subcutaneous or intramuscular injection into the muscle trigger points of one (2 ml) or two vials (4 ml) per treatment. Results are evident from the third week but, depending on the patient's clinical situation, may vary.

Intramuscular in the trigger points.

Intramuscular: 26G x 16mm needle.

Note: Disinfect the skin thoroughly with iodopovidone or chlorhexidine.

• Subcutaneous administration: insert the needle into the skin overlying the muscle trigger points to a depth of 4-6 mm.
• Intramuscular administration: insert the needle into the muscle at a depth of 9-16 mm.
