CoaguChek XS PT Test

The CoaguChek XS PT test strips are used to monitor blood coagulation (INR-/% Quick values) with the CoaguChek XS and CoaguChek XS Plus meters. Only a small amount of blood is needed for the coagulation test and the measurement time is only approximately 60 seconds. This makes testing with the CoaguChek XS PT test particularly gentle for the patient and easy to perform. Thus, the strips are also suitable for self-testing.

The CoaguChek test from Roche is optionally available in a pack of 24 or 48 test strips. In addition, a coding chip is included in each pack.

Each CoaguChek XS PT test strip is subjected to a quality control before measurement with the CoaguChek XS blood coagulation meter. This quality control detects any faults in the respective test strip, for instance caused by damp storage. This guarantees correctly determined measurement results with the help of the CoaguChek device and thus offers high reliability for the user.
