The Rome Service Dog 2026 features a refined Free-the-Ride Camber profile — rocker in the nose, flat under front foot, camber in the tail — giving float in powder with reliable edge hold on groomers. The board is reinforced with carbon stringers running fore/aft for extra snap and torsional control. Impact Plates around the insert zones aid in absorbing shock during landings, while a Sintered Base ensures fast glide across varied snow surfaces.

Construction

At its core sits a wood + bamboo blend core — balancing lightness, responsiveness, and dampening for all-mountain use. The layup includes Biax/Triax fiberglass layers to shape flex and torsional stiffness for a balanced ride. Carbon reinforcements integrate seamlessly with the core and glass layers to boost snap and control.

Impact Plates are embedded near the binding areas to spread load and protect the core from high stress. The sidewalls and edges are built to handle impacts and maintain integrity. The Sintered Base is pressed into the composite with high density, giving durability and excellent wax retention.
