Oropharma Can-Tax is a red dye based on canthaxanthin. Suitable for use in feed and water.

This dietary supplement gives color to your red canaries, enhances the red color in other birds and ensures an even red color. Because feathers are made of dead cells and therefore not fed through metabolism, they develop their color as they form. The plumage is renewed on average once a year. This process does not take place all at once. The fall of the old feathers is stimulated by the formation of the new ones gradually, so that the bird always maintains a full plumage.

When Can-Tax is added to the feed, the canthaxanthin is delivered where the feather grows and turns an intense red color. Beta-apo-8'-carotenal ensures an even better absorption of canthaxanthin. The formed feather retains its color until a new feather is formed.

Manual

Jars of 20 g and 150 g: 1 level measuring spoon (= 1 g) per 100 g Orlux eggfood or per 200 ml drinking water.

1. During the breeding period: 2 weeks before laying the first egg.

2. During the moult: daily during the moulting period.

3. Exhibition birds: every day all year round.

Keep cool and dry.
