Trebbiano di Soave, planted 2002-3 on the top of a windy hill where yields are low at 25 hl/ha. Fermented in steel, 7-8 months on lees.
Quince fruit but with the creamy character of their Soave wines just tasted – you'd almost think this had spent time in big old oak. Pear and apple on the palate. Succulent and long. (JH)
