This next generation digital film camera is designed for productions that demand speed, flexibility and uncompromised image quality. At its core is a newly developed Super 35 HDR image sensor with a native resolution of 4.6K, delivering exceptional detail, smooth highlight roll off and a wide dynamic range of 15 stops. Updated internal electronics allow the system to capture images at extremely high frame rates, making it suitable for feature films, commercials, television drama and high end documentary work. 

The sensor architecture enables high speed capture of up to 300 frames per second in windowed HD modes, while still supporting full sensor recording at higher resolutions. This flexibility allows filmmakers to combine cinematic shallow depth of field with dramatic slow motion effects without sacrificing image integrity. Oversampling from the 4.6K sensor results in clean, detailed 4K and Ultra HD images that hold up exceptionally well in post production. 

Recording is supported in both Blackmagic RAW and ProRes formats, giving full creative control over color, exposure and gamma while keeping workflows efficient. Media options are extensive, with dual CFast 2.0 slots, dual SD UHS II slots and an integrated USB C expansion port for direct recording to external disks. This ensures reliable recording across a wide range of shooting environments and production styles. 

The camera body is built around professional broadcast ergonomics. An interchangeable EF lens mount is supplied as standard and can be swapped for optional PL, B4 or F mounts to support cinema, broadcast and photographic lenses. Built in optical ND filters with four positions allow rapid exposure adjustment without altering depth of field or shutter angle. A fold out 4 inch capacitive touchscreen provides intuitive menu access and on set monitoring, complemented by extensive physical controls and a backlit status display for fast operation in all lighting conditions.

Professional connectivity is integrated throughout the design, including balanced XLR audio inputs with phantom power, precise internal timecode generation and robust SDI support for monitoring and control. Combined with DaVinci Resolve Studio, which is included, this system delivers a complete end to end solution from acquisition through post production.
