Tres Selos, 1973/2022.

Tom Zé maakt moeilijke muziek die desondanks makkelijk weg luistert. De Braziliaanse songschrijver vond zichzelf opnieuw uit met een hele reeks jaren zeventig albums, waarbij hij met gemak bossa-nova gitaren combineert met drill-boren en cirkelzagen. Todos Os Olhos is de eerste uit die reeks, waarop hij met een onwaarschijnlijk gemak experiment en plezier met elkaar verbindt. Diezelfde paradox is trouwens terug te vinden op de hoes, in een poging het Braziliaanse regime uit te dagen. We geven alvast een hint, het is geen oog of mond, maar een ander lichaamsdeel…
