The 3 ring bit combines an effective lateral restraint, leverage and rearing action in one. The degree of influence is selected by the different buckling options of the reins. Buckled into the lower ring, the receiving rein exerts the effect of a short lever on the bit. The 3-ring bit is often used to test the horse's reaction to leverage.

The anatomically correctly shaped mouthpiece rests evenly and lightly on the tongue and the tray and offers the tongue more space and freedom of movement. When accepting the reins, even pressure is applied to the lower jaw and tongue. There is no lateral squeezing of the tongue and the shutter. Use of bit discs makes it impossible to pinch the lips. Thanks to its slightly curved shape, the comfort bar lies particularly quietly in the mouth. Mouthpieces with a slightly curved bar are considered to be particularly gentle and easy on the mouth. This feature, combined with the beris synthetic material, enables horse and rider to communicate even more gently and comfortably.
