Het Gottsu Sepia Tone VI mondstuk voor tenor is een composiet mondstuk, gemaakt van siliconen en hard rubber. Het is een perfect afgewerkt mondstuk voor zeel veel controle en directheid. Gebaseerd op het Meyer NY mondstuk uit de jaren 60. De Sepia Tone VI is het best geschikt voor jazz, blues, pop en funk. Creëert een ronde sound met veel power, maar klinkt toch vol.

Gottsu over het Sepia Tone VI mondstuk:

Sepia Tone VI is het standaard Gottsu-model en het populairst in Japan. Het “VI” label staat voor “Vintage”; het is alleen toevallig ook het Romeinse cijfer VI. De kenmerken van dit model zijn het donkere, gefocuste geluid en het gemak van blazen. Met de Gottsu Sepia Tone VI ben je vrij om je eigen geluid te maken.

I made this model to give musicians nostalgia while playing it.  The style is designed to reflect the vintage jazz era.  Although other styles and sounds are fun to explore for a while, this mouthpiece will be the favorite that you always return to.

The reason I decided to implement 5-axis center machining at Gottsu was because of this model.  I really wanted to make the best hard-rubber mouthpiece in the world, so I spent many hours studying the programming in order to fix errors by myself.  That is how I started to create this Sepia Tone VI model.
