This seven inch HDR monitor recorder is designed for professionals who need a larger, highly accurate viewing surface without sacrificing portability. With a rugged aluminium chassis and an intuitive touchscreen interface, it integrates seamlessly into camera rigs, studio environments and mobile production setups. The generous screen size makes it ideal for critical focus pulling, exposure judgement and collaborative viewing on set. 

At the centre of the design is a stunning HDR touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels and an extremely high brightness level of 2500 nits. This allows confident monitoring even in bright outdoor conditions. The wide P3 colour gamut and support for HDR workflows ensure faithful colour reproduction, while image rotation and wide viewing angles make it easy to mount in any orientation. The interface is driven by Blackmagic OS, using simple tap and swipe gestures with semi transparent overlays that keep attention on the image. 

Connectivity is built for modern production standards. Support for 12G SDI and HDMI 2.0 enables handling of HD, Ultra HD, 2K and 4K DCI formats up to 2160p60. This makes the unit suitable for high end digital cinema cameras as well as broadcast and live production systems. Embedded audio is supported over both SDI and HDMI, allowing multi channel audio to be monitored alongside picture.

Recording functionality is equally powerful. Dual built in SD card recorders allow uninterrupted capture by automatically switching when a card is full, and recording can also be done directly to external USB C drives. Files are saved in broadcast quality 10 bit 4:2:2 ProRes or DNx formats, and Blackmagic RAW is supported with compatible cameras. This ensures immediate compatibility with post production workflows without time consuming conversion.

Professional monitoring tools are integrated as standard. Waveform, vectorscope, histogram and RGB parade are available, including HDR specific graticules. Focus assist, zebra and false colour tools support precise focus and exposure, while 3D LUT support allows creative looks to be previewed accurately during shooting. Power is supplied via common L‑series batteries or the included universal power adapter with locking connector, making the unit reliable for long production days.
