This compact professional multiviewer is designed for broadcast, live production and post‑production environments where multiple SDI sources must be monitored simultaneously on a single display. It allows four completely independent video feeds to be viewed at the same time, simplifying control rooms and mobile setups while maintaining full broadcast reliability. The design follows the same modular format as other Teranex Mini–style devices, making it easy to integrate into racks, flyaway systems or behind monitors without taking up valuable space.
The unit features four multi‑rate 6G‑SDI inputs, each with full frame re‑synchronisation. This enables the monitoring of any combination of SD, HD and Ultra HD signals at the same time, even when the sources run at different frame rates or formats. Signals are automatically detected and synchronised, ensuring stable and tear‑free monitoring without the need for external reference signals. This makes it ideal for mixed‑format environments and live production workflows.
Video output is available via both SDI and HDMI, providing excellent flexibility when choosing displays. It supports output to standard 1080 HD monitors as well as 2160p Ultra HD displays. When connected to an Ultra HD monitor or television, each quadrant is displayed at full 1920 × 1080 resolution, delivering exceptional sharpness and clarity in every view. This makes it easier to judge focus, graphics and image quality across all sources.
Operational overlays add further functionality during live use. On‑screen audio meters and custom labels can be enabled per window, giving immediate visual feedback and clear source identification. Configuration can be performed locally using the optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel with its built‑in colour display, or remotely via USB or Ethernet for setup and firmware updates. All settings are stored internally and automatically restored when power is cycled, ensuring consistent operation at all times.
Power flexibility is another advantage, as the device can be powered via a standard power supply or directly through PoE+ from a compatible Ethernet switch, enabling simplified cabling and redundant power options in critical installations. Its robust all‑metal construction ensures reliable 24/7 operation in both studio and field environments.
