The Kingpin Germanium Clipper is a mini, two-stage FET overdrive pedal that offers warm characteristics and Germanium clipping. The Kingpin's Germanium aspect uses Ukrainian clipping diodes configured as a hard clipper and positioned directly between the two FET stages. The two FET stages combine MOSFET and JFET technologies. This compact gain pedal can overdrive your signal with clear, bell-like tones and a subtle touch of grit. The CLIP toggle further enhances the pedal's versatility by providing access to more aggressive levels of Germanium clipping. The Kingpin features a variable voltage input, enabling it to be safely powered by any center-negative power supply ranging from 9V to 18V for increased headroom.
