The unit accepts both 12G‑SDI and SMPTE ST 2110 IP video, automatically converting incoming signals to HDMI for monitoring. It supports the full range of SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD and DCI 4K formats up to 2160p60, ensuring compatibility with current and future production standards. A built‑in 3D LUT system allows accurate colour calibration of connected HDMI monitors, which is essential for critical viewing and confidence monitoring in broadcast environments.
Audio handling is equally comprehensive. Up to 16 channels of embedded audio are supported on SDI and IP inputs, while HDMI outputs can carry up to 8 embedded channels. In addition, the converter includes two balanced XLR analog audio outputs with adjustable gain and delay, allowing direct connection to professional audio monitoring systems. A front‑panel speaker and a 6.35 mm headphone output provide convenient local audio monitoring without the need for external equipment.
Network connectivity is provided via a single 10 Gb Ethernet port that supports SMPTE ST 2110 video, audio and ancillary data.
