An ant keeping starter kit

Ideal set to start your ant hobby, fun for young and old. This set contains everything to give your hobby a flying start, the only thing that is not included is the ant queen, but it is of course also much more fun to catch her yourself.

This set contains:

- An outer world of PLA (3D printed) 5x5cm
- A separate white removable inner part PLA (3D printed).
- 1x test tube 16x100.
- 3mm transparent acrylic outer world lid with air holes.
- 4 nest gates:
3 closed to close off the outside world.
1 "test tube nest connectors", which fit every module in our collection.
- an O-ring for a good closure of the test tubes
- a test tube cover (in the color black)
- a small food bowl (in the color white)
- a cotton ball
- a test tube insert (in the color white)
- tweezers (in the color black)
- a syringe of 3 ml
- an ant jelly (flavors are random)

• The white removable inner part is ideal if the outside has a different color than white, so you can always see the ants clearly.
• An orifice port can hold a small tubing (OD 10mm) or a large tubing (ID 12mm) (not included).
• You can easily feed your new colony in the outside world by lifting the acrylic plate.
• You simply attach the test tube to the outside world with a twist. The O-ring ensures a perfect seal and ensures that the test tube does not come loose by itself.
• There is room under the test tubes for a heat cable if necessary.

OPTIONS:
• The small outside world can be ordered in several colours.

• An additional Outworld expansion, which allows you to raise your mini-outworld to a liquid feeder (1 or 2 ml) if your new colony needs a little more liquid, for example if you have to go away for a while.

This Ant Keeping Starter Set is part of our modular system, ensuring that you never purchase anything you won't use as your colony grows.
The modular system is easily expandable with other components.
All modules are 5 cm or multiples thereof (for example, 5x5).
