Beautiful rare antique rolled gold engraved locket/pendant with hand painted mother of pearl sea scene. On one side is a delicately painted scene of the ocean and rocks protected by glass and on the other a pretty mother of pearl disc. 

This is a gorgeous and unusual piece of jewellery and would look lovely on a gold chain. I would love to know who painted the landscape and where it is situated.

The pendant measures 2.5cm x 3cm (including the ring).
